For this post, I'd like to share how I cut down my meat consumption, in case you have a similar interest. I will be writing about tofu. I'm not sure how your body reacts to tofu, so listen to your body if you want to try it. Google has so many resources on what to cook instead of meat. :)

So, I got curious about tofu because I always wonder how my vegetarian/vegan friends have energy if they don't eat meat. I did some searching/asking and it seems that tofu also provides a similar feeling to eating meat, so I tried it.

I bought the medium-firm tofu block, cut them into smaller cubic shapes, and cooked it as if I was cooking chicken - I seasoned it the way I seasoned my chicken, for example, with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and pepper/or some flavour/herb I like. And since then, I haven't cooked meat at home. I might eat meat outside, but at least to me, cooking tofu is much less work than cooking meat. And it's also good for the environment and for my health.

In case you are curious too, give it a try. Google search for recipes. There are so many ways to consume less meat. :)

Make sure to do it slowly though. By that, I mean that it will take time for your body not to crave meat if you eat meat for all meals. It took time for me too. And even these days, when I come across a meat dish that looks great, I'd still try it. Maybe one day, I'll be a vegetarian/vegan. I'm getting there. :)
